Hello, Hello , I'm the Solitary Writer from the world wide web who is passionate about writing as much like you love reading. I am into everything and often many people call me as the connoisseur of art though I consider myself to be 'just another blogger' in this huge blog world. Since you are here, why don't you read my blog posts and leave your comments for me?

“Can I be there with you for the evening?”, he asked.
“You can do anything you want.”, she replied.
“All right. May I be there with you?”, he asked again.
This time she looked at him, as if trying to read his face, his eyes and his soul thoroughly.
“Some thing is wrong with you is it?”, she quizzed as if cracking a joke.
“Yes. Something is wrong. And I can’t go unless the half good and half bad thing is ok”, he replied in a sober tone.
He sounded hopeful, and that gave her strength. She wanted to feel it strongly now, that it was her, and he would tell it to her pretty soon.
So she paused for a while and said, “ You can wait. But you need to give me some good reason for it.”
He stood up immediately and screamed, “A good reason for your best friend??”.
She giggled and said, “Well, why not!”.
“I’ll tell you this time… the reason..”, he said.
Her heart skipped a beat. She almost could see him telling that to her now.
He continued, “The reason… the reason is love..! yes love!!”.
She could not stop smiling, and dreaming. Her world seemed to have stopped for the good this time.
“Finally…”, said she, smiling and blushing.
“Yes, finally I had the guts to ask her out. God! She was just more than willing and that gave me such a high! And now, if I move out in the rain, I’ll spoil the flowers I bought for her, also the dress. So yes, I am here .Thank God you exist! Else my first gift for her would have been all messed up”, he said all this in a hurry, moving towards the window.
“Oh , the rain’s stopped.”, he smiled again kissed her on her cheek, “See you later. Love you. Pray for me. Ok?”, and he rushed out.
She watched him run down the pavement, through her window, towards the same place where once he and she had a “mock date”.
She smiled, looked towards the sky and said, “I wish it didn’t rain. But keep him happy always.”
Closed the window, and vanished somewhere inside her house.
It would be a complete understatement to say that it rained that day. It sure did! All day and all night and then, even the next day. For safety reasons the electricity had been cut off. There was absolutely nothing to do. All of us were isolated in our own homes. I didn’t know what to do. And it just kept raining. I cursed the rains. What else could I do?
I had just moved to a new city and this is how it welcomed me! I knew no-one here. Not even my neighbours. You know how it is when you just get a new job. Handling that is your first priority. Add to it that there was nothing in my kitchen. My grand entry into MUMBAI.
Since there was nothing else to do, I picked up my guitar which I hadn’t played since more than a year now. And it reminded me of all the days gone by. Of the days that I spent in college, sitting at the canteen playing. It was a chick magnet, let me tell you. But all I wanted to do was play for her. All my songs were about her, for her. Suddenly, as I played, I remembered of all the days we spent together. Of all the silly fights and the immediate sorry calls. I remembered the way she went away just without a goodbye, the email that followed which said that she couldn’t carry on. She said I would get out of my life if I loved her. I loved her. I remembered the why I could never ask. It was all over, just like that. The loud thunder brought me back to now. It was over. I was here. A fresh start. A new beginning. Maybe in this city of dreams, I would find the girl of my dreams.
It was almost 8pm by now and my stomach was growling just as loudly as the thunder outside. It was pitch dark and I didn’t even have a candle. I started playing.
Her mind is tiffany-twisted, she got the Mercedes benz
She got a lot of pretty, pretty boys, that she calls friends
How they dance in the courtyard, sweet summer sweat.
Some dance to remember, some dance to forget
KNOCK KNOCK. Who could that be now? “It is open. Come in,” I said. Came in one of the most beautiful girls I have ever seen. Long hair and candle in her hand. “We saw you were alone and in the dark. Would you care to join us for dinner?” Somehow I didn’t stop playing. I continued..
Last thing I remember, I was
Running for the door
I had to find the passage back
To the place I was before
“relax,” said the night man,
We are programmed to receive.
You can checkout any time you like,
But you can never leave!

People sing you are my sunshine,
I say you are my rain.
The dry, patched earth waits
Just I like yearn for you.
The song-bird awaits
Just like I ache for you.
The monsoon arrives.
The earth rejoices,
The water from heaven
Freeing her from bonds unknown,
Take her to a place
She has only dreamt of.
The song-bird sings
Of pleasures only she knows,
Her love is back
To fulfill every desire, her every wish.
The tree reborn,
Her life is new,
Nothing like her ever knew.
Nothing has changed.
Nothing is the same.
One day, I’m sure,
You’ll come too.
One day, I’m sure
I feel like them too.
One day, I’m sure,
You’ll be here to stay.
And like the rain,
You will not ever leave.
One day, I’m sure.
I was in middle of a really boring chapter when I thought of this. I guess I should really start studying if it gives me inspiration for more poems :) Hope you will like it :D
P.S cross posted at my blog
Muthu looked up at the sky with despair—it was a clear blue canvas with no trace of clouds, and that too, in July, when rain-laden clouds usually crowd the sky. He turned his gaze to the ragged plastic bag in his hand—filled with fifty-odd small zip-locked plastic pouches. Finally, he peeked into his shirt pocket—he had nothing!!

I am your average humble soul flowing in the river of life just like millions of others. . . . .
Sometimes, i flow rapidly, sometimes i just cruise along, lazily.
Its a relative life.

“Ok.Evening sharp at 6 pm,CCD,dadar,”Sandeep said to Richa. They were about to meet after a long time.As usual Sandeep was busy with his office work. Also , he was going to take part in a TV reality dance show called “Rakhi ke saath nacho,” he was busy practicing .He was eagerly waiting for Rajinikanth’s next movie “Yentran” which would be released in 2009.He celebrated Rajnikanth's birthday by cutting cake and distributing sweets in his apartment.Even his best friend Asbah was invited for that birthday.
”Yeh to bata, dekhta hai tu kahan,” his phone rang.It was Supari bhai giving his regular supari to sandeep.”Shanpati ,apun ko aaj tujhe milna hai sham 6 baje CCD mein,” Sandeep’s face turned pale and his body started shivering after hearing Supari bhai's voice. He could not repay the 20k bucks that he borrowed from the don.He was supposed to meet his girlfriend Richa and Supari bhai at the same time and that too at the same place. He wanted to get rid of that.An idea struck in his mind. He remembered a scene from Rajnikanth's flick where the hero’s body is painted with black color. Sandeep decided to do the same.He soon removed his shirts and changed his brown face to a yellow one.He painted his face with yellow oil paint, with red stripes just like an adivaasi.
He reached CCD at 6 pm ,people were looking at him like crazy.”See,the clown momma ,” a boy of 4 could not stop laughing after seeing Sandeep in this avatar. Sandeep was already used to such embarassing scenes .He once, roamed Marine drive without his pants and few days later ,he gave himself an European blonde look. He was waiting for Richa. He grabbed her hands as soon she reached CCD. ”Bachao”, She shouted.Sandeep assured her that it was him. He refrained himself from telling the story behind this yellow paint. At the same time,Supari bhai was searching for Sandeep Malan. Sandeep believed that Supari could not identify him, so he decided to perform some Rajini style. ”Enna ,da rascala, you searching for Sandeep,”Sandeep slapped bhai. Supari bhai’s men got furious with this act of the yellow colored guy . ”Enna kanna, chuma adharrula," he went on with his Rajni dialogues. He slapped Supari again and again,it seemed he liked it.Suddenly, it rained and the yellow paints were getting washed off.But he wasn’t aware of it.”Aila, tu hai, pakkado sale ko,”Supari ordered his men to catch Sandeep who was trying to escape.

Write to be understood, speak to be heard, read to grow...
After all there is 'oNe lIfE tO lOvE...'

Each touch of rain to the ground
makes me die a little,
and live a little more.
So solemn is the day,
grey and endless,
like an infinite nothing.
My mind drifts in these empty days,
thoughts of freedom,
ideals of love.
They come to me when I'm here.
Tomorrow seems so far away,
like a shade in the horizon.
The clouds drift away,
but the rain keeps pouring on.
Time seems to stop,
in the chaotic noise and cold feel,
feelings of death and rebirth.
I love rainy days,
except when I'm in love.
