Writers Lounge Website! Kudos Aditya!

For once, I am short of words. Our baby finally has a website and it's simply outstanding!! Great work Aditya. This is one of the many things we had visualized when the 3 of us had laid the foundation stone of TWL and a million thanks for helping us realize it. And a website on the 3rd birthday of our lounge makes it the best return gift we can ever give to a place where we have laughed and cried together, as a big family. The lounge is slowly getting back to its old self and let's make 'Monsoon Madness' a big hit! :-)

Everything's fine at my end. Working on a short film, 'The Moment', these days in my free time. It is a blog story that I posted originally on TWL that I am converting into a short film. It's what I am giving back in return to the lounge on its 3rd birthday! Here are teasers that I made for the film. Let me know your views

Better late than never....!!

A belated happy b'day to my dearest lounge!! Sowwie for being so late, was stuck up without internet access... So our lounge is a year old... Wow, never realised how fast time went by... !! I feel sad that I couldn't always be around to see it grow and flourish... but all the same it's a lovely feeling to be here... with all you beautiful people... and to know that our baby's still there and it's growing each day and bubbling with life and energy!! And may be I can't always make it here... but this place is really special to me... and so is each one of you for making it what it is... !!! So that's that I guess... hope to be back soon...when life becomes less busy... till then.... keep reading, writing and lounging... and keep smiling ..!!!! And yes, Neha is keeping really busy ... and she told me to wish you all on her behalf... and give everyone her love... So belated happy b'day lounge, once again... from Neha... !!!!

I am so egg-cited!!


One day I was reading a post in Kajal's blog and I saw the WL's badge on the side.. I juz clicked it.. Oh my Gosh!!! Good that I clicked it.. I was like amazed... What a wonerful work these guys are doing here.. I really was...


It tooks days for me to think, that should I really join this site.. coz, I am (was) not a good writer.. I mean in a creative way..

Besides that thought, my heart was so forcing me to join TWL.. and there I gave a go..


I was so damn happy, when i received the invitation from the Admins.. Thank you so much guys..


Now I am a part of this family for 3 months.. I feel so blessed.. I have learned a lot here.. I have got so many dear friends and I love everyone here though I don't know some.. But, I wish to know them :)

And Now,

Happy B'day To Lounge!!! Loop Poetry

Hey everyone! I'm following in the footsteps of Prats, Freelancer and everyone else who has done a loop poem recently! I'm trying out a loop poem now! My first attempt:

The lounge is turning 1,

1 fabulous year it was,

Was it not amazing,

Amazing like the Earth,

Earth which has a lot of people,

People who love the Writer's Lounge,

Lounge where people read and write,

Write to their heart's content,

Content which is very well written,

Written with love and care.

Well this is my 2nd post today to wish the Lounge an extremely happy birthday! The lounge seems back to normal today on TWL's b'day and you know what? I wish it was TWL birthday everyday! Many more b'days of the lounge are to come!

Yeah whats with me!?? Suddenly i appear and suddenly disappear! Well my exams have begun..!!! Two down, many to go! I know im supposed to be working Math sums but it would be unfair not to wish my Dear Lounge HAPPY BIRTHDAY!

Dear Lounge,

You mean a lot to me! You gave me so many amazing friends, the presence of so many god poets, story writers etc has made me a better writer. I came here to just write but now i feel this is my home! With all the friends i have made, so many critics, it makes me smile!

Happy B'day To My Dearest Loungie!!!

Guys and girls, today's a very very important day! The place we've all lounged at is now 1! I would like to say thanks to the founders and admins for making such a fantastic place where we "read, write and lounge!"

I have made sooo many friends at the lounge (too many to mention!) but Tan, Aarthi, Freelancer, Leo, Ste, Prats, Sonshu, Kings, Arun, Riya, Pulkit, Nuchu, Arjun (btw, I know what Lage Raho means now =D) & Miss Sunshine are some of my special friends. Still waiting for Uncle Sandeep (the guru, as Mum calls him)... :) :) :)

Have you noticed how quickly time flies when you're on our lounge? Reading all the wonderful poems, stories and interesting stuff... wow you guys are amazing writers!

Hmmm... me running out of time (gotta go school!) but IT'S MY LAST DAY TODAY, I DON'T HAVE TO GO BACK FOR 6 WEEKS!!!

Hey guys,

I am just so happy today...! Our WRITERS LOUNGE turns an year old!!! :) :)

Trust me, THE WRITERS LOUNGE is the best place on earth... a place that gives me the freedom to write what I feel, to say it out freely at any point of the day and that gives me the assurance that anything and everything I say will be heard by someone here! There will be someone here for me...always! :)

TWL has given me something that i'll cherish till eternity... friends! Thank you Ste for bringing me here...to this heaven... yes, it truly is! Thank you Pratibha, Sandeep, Kajal, Asbah, Kingsley, Hashan, Arjun, Vinay, Freelancer, Tan dada, Arun, Sonshu, Nuchu, Roshni, Sona (Roshni's mom)... I just love you guys!! You guys have given me the strength to move on in times so blue... you guys have made me smile like a five-year old...! Life has truly changed after I met you all... there is so much I have learnt from you while talking to you or while reading you here!

Ste, Sandeep and Asbah... kudos to you! You have brought all of us together here as a family, a wonderful family. Great going guys!

Inspite of every problem we have been facing recently, the lounge is going on...its growing each day! Being a part of the admin team, I would proudly accept that it is because of all you guys that we have handled every problem with strength and courage... you guys have been truly amazing!
