Love will Find its way-Part 3

Please read Part1 and Part 2

Well Soul Mate is a very weighted word but then its presence makes you equally enlighten. Soul mate was not a weighted but rather a superficial and unreal reality for these two individuals. Soul mates were too big a thing to believe, they even doubted the existence of Love in this universe. But then both Isha and Raj had their own set of experiences to come to such conclusions. Raj didn’t only have a heartbroken past but experiences of betrayal, selfishness and dishonesty which made him find all individuals to be self centered. He has to some sense started to believe he can’t ever find a girl who could be apt for him. That doesn’t mean he never had friends who were girls. He had and loads and he was pro-woman in many senses as a result of being raised in a family with strong woman like his grand mom, mother and his sister. Infact in many senses he wanted to do lot for the womenfolk as a whole like his mom. But then in other senses he didn’t really approved of most women he dated or met. Well u can blame that on his rich background or the enticing looks. In his society most of the girls he encountered were either after his money or his contacts or were the ones whose only aim was to get married and settled in life. He did meet strongly oriented career women too but then they weren’t the ones to date….either they were too old or too geeky. In his life he never found the perfect one- the gorgeous, strong minded women he wanted …after all he was looking for a combination of beauty with brains. But his Life had been such he had stopped believing in the perfect girl who could actually make him believe in love once again.

That is the definition which defined Isha- she was the perfect example of beauty and brains. She was working social issues related to women making her the feminist to the core. She had the strongest educational background with sky rocketing career aims. She wanted to rule the world and make the world a different place for women then the one it was today. And to top it all….she was pretty in the conventional sense…infact charmingly cute with beautiful eyes, hair and a personality. She wasn’t too tall but then she was bold enough to speak her mind. She came from a family of educationalist. And yet like Raj, she had stopped believing in Love. Well that’s what a failed relationship does to a girl who gives it all to the one who gives none. She had her experiences of hypocrisy, lies, dishonesty and double standards. Infact in many senses she had stopped believing in love showered by friends too. But then she was a girl with great social skills so she did have few people who were her greatest friendship but then she had learnt the art to not be hurt. She had become little more cautious and skeptical of individuals. Infact she believed she had showered all the love she had in her and now all she would look for in life would be adjustments and never love or expectations. What she didn’t realize was the fact that love was looking for her round the corner of the road…….

Love Finds its way-Part 2

Please read Part 1 before proceeding

The wedding was a usual traditional affair….it wasn’t the wedding but the reception so it was more likens a social gathering. Isha was there as she was getting to meet loads of old friends and all the old faces she had grown up with. But then there were also Uncles and aunties who had the questions about her marriage and the answers of which she never had. And then in one corner of the wedding was standing Raj…..

Well how do I define Raj for you people? He was the typical knight in shining armor everyone dreams of days and night. He was 5’10’’ tall, very fair guy with those mesmerizing blue eyes and a V-shaped built. Though he had no overgrown muscles but had a tough body. Looking at him made him feel as if a Brat Pitt or a Jude Law in front of you. After all they were no fools who forced him to model for a long time but his professional aims made him choose a different direction. He was a Heart Surgeon by profession. Born to a doctor mother and doctor cum business man father, he was the most catchable bachelor in the reception anyone could lay eyes on. Raj was accompanied by Simi, his o so gorgeous interior designer sister. Simi was the sweetest and the sexiest girl around too but then she was accompanied by Raj’s best friend and her fiancĂ©e Vipul so all eyes went off after seeing her.

The wedding was all that it has to be-loads of laughter, music, talking, food and dancing. But then wedding loses its fun if some of the match making and romances doesn’t bloom here. That was the purpose for fate to bring Isha and Raj in the same wedding.

Isha charming personality, her looks and her off the cuff dress had made her noticeable in the crowd. But it was her even running and fun attitude made her noticeable to Raj who had till date really haven’t given a damn to girls.

You might be surely wondering about how a guy like Raj could really be single. After all an insanely good looking, successful and rich guys are what dreams are made of but then they are single…seems hard to believe. Well Raj’s life has been like that. He was American born kid with loads of Indianess in him. And to add to it he was a genius…his dad started his hospital in Mumbai when he was in his 6th and that made him come to Mumbai. He was this all rounder, creative guy who knew he had to be like his parents as he is the eldest. He was a creative guy with writing, reading and singing as his passions but he knew he couldn’t go much if he had to be successful so he decided he will fulfill his parent’s dreams before his. He studied and studied in school, was in theatre …did everything for them to be proud of….But then he even fell for a girl who wasn’t right for him. She was all but a true Indian girl. She loved his money, his status, his looks….she loved everything but him. He was an amazingly caring guy thanks to his parents and loved her like anything. Infact he was one of the few guys who wanted to lose virginity post marriage….but then the girl’s lust for it made him lose it as he realized it isn’t wrong when u love someone deep enough. But today he realizes that’s the biggest mistake he did as she left him within 2 months of doing …as he came to know that was bet to make him sleep with her. He couldn’t believe six years couldn’t make her forget the bet. He was totally heartbroken and devastated. But then Simi and Vipul were around. He was in his second yr of medical in AIIMS then and he couldn’t afford a breakdown and if did she will be successful in making him a loser. So he got up …devoted his time to his studies and also realized he need to find peace in his creative side again. He started writing pieces and reviews and stories….he knew how to play guitar so he got enrolled in his music society and went on to became a craze and within no time he forgot what happened…but ya he never allowed a girl to come to him for emotional purposes. After his MBBS, he went to USA for higher studies…..after all he had been admitted at the Harvard Medical School. US was a new life for someone who was born there…..he did all he wanted to…participated in concerts, won writing competitions, Topped his exams……and even dated……but only as long on his terms…in short he never got time for love…….But then after practicing there for years he felt his country needed him…..he took a extra MD in chest diseases due to presence of Asthma in cities like Delhi, Bangalore, etc and came back for a research. After all like his mom he wants to do PhD someday.

But then a tough guy like him never knew Love will find him and change his life forever. There he was in a wedding where there was the presence of his soul mate…….

Love Finds its way-Part1

Sitting near the window in her caned rocking chair, her old bespectacled eyes watched the moon and the stars with the same hope as the one they gave her when she was 17.

Then she was young, beautiful, hopeful, loving but too innocent for her to decipher the real intentions of the world. Today she sits contemplating her life as a smirk passes through her lips telling her life wasn’t as cruel as she had thought it to be towards her. The moons, the stars and the night seem almost similar as the night which changed her life.
soulm
‘The Night’……….What a sparkling night it was and even more sparkling then expected was it for Isha.

Isha was a ordinary girl in her mid- twenties. But then she wasn’t as ordinary as she thought she was. Right from the school, she has been one of the prettiest girls around but only difference then was she tried to look too ordinary to avoid attention. But today she was no more than the same stupid, innocent girl. Life had indeed taught her loads of things she never actually thought she would learn. From a simple dressed, chubby girl she had indeed turned into a hot babe …though the charming chubbiness still reigned and so does her innocence but she was no longer deceived easily. She had truly learned a lot in life…..she had taken a lot too…..Luck had never favoured her and Life always deceived her and that in itself taught her the tough ways of life. From being molested ..to being hurt….to been heartbroken….she had seen it all and learnt the lesson enough to not oneself go through any of them again in life.

So this is the story of that sparkling night, sparkling not just with stars but with crackers too as it was the wedding of her childhood friend. Post her breakup she had always been avoiding social gatherings for long but now that her head and heart had accepted the truth , she thought it was high time she had a social life too. She was wearing a traditional Muslim dress…a pink
kameez and a blue and pink stripped gharara and a gorgeous Blue Dupatta . She was looking just like the Cinderella people often read about in the books. But she still wasn’t looking for her Prince Charming as she was sick of most of the fake Princes in her life……..

But that doesn’t mean the Prince wasn’t looking for her. As they say doesn’t matter if you look for Love or not, Love will find you if it has to. And that what exactly had to happen with her…….

Matter of Fact

A candid splendour and a divine beauty he was, she thought. Not many people would call him a handsome face; they would most likely be intimidated by his demeanour. But she knew him better. She knew his mind, she knew his values. She knew what devilish thoughts went inside his intellectual armour. She knew his heart.

He walked around in his naked glory, a cup of coffee in one hand and the newspaper in the other. She laughed, amused at his complete lack of modesty.

“Something funny, Miss Goody Two Shoes?”

“Yes, Mr. I-Just-Took-Over-Satan’s Glory”

He turned to look around at her. One brow lifted with the don’t-bullshit-me-early-morning look and a smirk on her face.

He went back to his reading.

She pulled the sheets closer. The winter Sunday morning made her lazy.

He had a thought at the back of his head. He ventured.

“So when do you reckon telling your parents that you are in love with a man a decade older to you?”

“When they reckon asking me who do I wish to spend the rest of my life with...”

“Won’t they be disappointed?”

“I won’t be. And the way I see it, they have already lived their life. I am living mine”

“You are heartless.”

“What do you think made me fall for you?”

“Qualities aside, why did you fall for an older man?"

“Because you are the only one who can match my mental & psychological age”

He smiles. Was she his muse? Was she a passing phase in his life?

His heart whispers, “Soul-mate”

She smiles.
