I sit calmlyGazing at the sea
The setting sun
The oozing serenity!
The waves caressing the sand
How could he ever let go of my hand
The tears I have in my eyes
Can never tell you my plight!
The waves roll out again
Like the pain in me time and again
They return dauntlessly
And I look at the sky complainingly!
The sun is setting
Indicating the dawn
Just the way he left me
To cry and to frown!
I am not weak
I know my might
I grow stronger
With each passing night!
The dawn brings with it
Rays of hope
For the puppets of the God
Who hold on to their rope!
Life is never the same
You can never live it with ease
I promise today
I will find that PEACE!
