Shweta: yes i am :) * nervous*
Admin: first question is the usual :) tell abt urself and ur blog(s).
and nervousness is ok no problem i will make sure to make you feel comfortable
Shweta: hmm i am shweta....from delhi...most of the wl knws me as i ,me and myslf or as tweety my blog life - a hope is all about little things in life dat i have seen around...
a child smiling, a heart break and even d household quarrels....all little tiny things th at make our life happy and sad.
Admin: very intersting but Shweta why you named it as Life- A hope? any particular reason behind it?
Shweta: not really...i was sad dat i made my blog....sometimes we just need hope and thats what i was looking for that moment n so the title :)
Admin: Okay! If we ask you to name your blog other then Life- A Hope what it would be?
Shweta: Our lives in words

Tell us something about your nick that you gave yourself, I mean why you chose to write with a nick " I , Me and Myself '?
Shweta: aahhh me quite a self centerd person - so i chose the name i me and myself...for me it signifies being accpetable to my own self...i for shweta...me for who she is....myself for who she has become...

Shweta: i came across wl thru nikk akka the silent soul....
Admin: When you joined WL and how is the experience so far?

Shweta: yes i made friends and many have gained a lot of respect from me cuz of what they are and for there talents

she is a svthrt....or should i say d devilish angel....read her poems got inspired to write more and finally wid gtalk i came to knw her bettr....she has been a gr8 support overall as a frnd

aahhh what shld i say about the poetry king.....when i first talkd to him i found him shy...or shld i say more of an introvert...but honestly wid tym dat i have talked to him he is a svhrt...he is someone i would want to come and tell my prblms to and he would listen patiently...his work....i dont think i reaalyy have to put words to dat...we all knw hw magnificent leo writes

he is another svthrt....he is the one i want to contact first when my blog updates...and when i knw i have written miserable to tell me i have written an amazing piece...lolzz....i call him my senior or the story king....being in d same profession it has been fun teasing him...overall an admirable person

she is someone who relates best to my posts...she is one who cheers me up wid her words of wisdom....her poems touch me so deeply as if written just for me...overall a svt person and i cherish d little talks we have had

Shweta: wl i wont say is my family....i havent really been dat heavily involved in it...but yes its an imp part of my life...for me WL is a platform to put on my thought and be told svthrt ur not going crazy we all feel the same thing...i like it when i feel i am not alone in this boat of life...WL is a place where i get to be inspire by what others write...to be happy when i so much of talent budding in...n lastly WL is a boon....for me its gr8 to be a part of it or should i say honoured to be a part of it.

Admin: Do you think some members are being selfish in posting and commenting on their own work and not reading others?
Shweta: i should count myself first of all in that list...cuz i havent been that active these days...but then its an individuals choice....i would i agree its not right but i wouldnt comment if someone chooses to do that
i am liking u admin...u seriously seem to be quiet lenient on me.
Admin: what is the one thing that can make you delete a blog of yours?
Shweta: i wouldnt delete my blog...cus just that day rash told me the blog doesnt get blocked if u dont post in it for long time...so i dnt think i would ever delete it...but quite a possibility i might not write in it....sometimes it feels i cant write...so soemtimes the thought of not writing but nothing as such

Admin: Well I beleive this phase comes in every writers life, Shweta what do u think, the best part about WL , which makes it different from others?
Shweta: brb admin...just a moment
Admin: sure
Shweta:Wl is different becuz we have the freedom to write whatever we want…..though I was offended by ppl giving opiniated views about some posts…but d best I like in WL is d fact that the suggestion of ever member is take into account….we can talk about anything and everything and express our feelings into words…no matter on what it is…I mean see we have criket, politics, love, crime everything at one place…what else do we want

Admin: Shweta what do u think about the recent issues abuduntly rising in WL families liking walking away and all, what do u think is the reason and how it can be cured?
Shweta: yes i just saw a goodbye post today itslef n its really sad....
but i dnt think u shld be walkign away...tell me if we all say that wl is our family then dont we have feeds in family...do the members walk away...i dnt thnk so...n also if u have any prblm give ur opinion...all d admins are gr8....they listen...so i dnt think u really need to go away wid it....it hurts us all....
i love wl becuz we all voice our opinions...we fight we find a soln n we get to a common point....but if u go away hw can we solve...walking away is not a soln

Shweta: i think its gud to have 9 admins cuz when some are buzy thers are free...so if anyone who wants to talk to admin can easily contact....i think all d admins are great...and my family is in great hands...no change reqd :) :P
Admin: yeah exactly.. suppose u r stranded alone in an island....wht wud be the 3 things that u will take with you

Shweta: hmmm.. my ipod, some food to keep me alve for some days, n hot funny guy who can keep me company :P :)
Admin: why a hot funny guy to accompany you? it cud be a girl whm u cud think of as a soul sister

Shweta: hmm actually not really a bad idea but i would still prefer a guy....den wapas aane ka man nahi karega na ;)

and plus i can put more emotions in dem and make dem as painful as i want

Shweta: pain is my inspiration...the confusion in lives of others is my inspiration...the smile on d face of my little niece is my inspiration....the love of my parents is my inpiration...the support of my brother is my inspiration...little things dat all inspire me

Shweta: the pen of heart and the ink of emotions

Shweta: i write when i am frustated to core...and i can give my anger on to that white paper which readily absorbs it...i write when i am happy....to paint the white paper with colours....so dat it makes my life brighter n much happier :P

Shweta: our nation can devlop and reach new heights only if we allow it...only if our lovely politiciancs leave their own selfish interests and look for d intersts of the country....if every individual in this country takes it as his or her priority to make it better and take it on d path of development and prosperity

Monday Delight - A WL Interview Series

To WL Family!

Its a great pride for all of us to know each other by different aspects. After long time of break we are here with an announcement of an interview coming this Monday i.e 22 June 2009. Though it was announced previously that Insiya aka illusiOn~ will be interviewed but due to some unavoidable reasons we are unable to do so, but for sure its scheduled. Shweta aka I, Me and Myself is selected as out next guest for Monday Delight. Rashi: Well I'm Rashi. Raash to many.
My blog is simply a reflection of my thoughts and my feelings..
It is called Rocky Road because the name struck me as an interesting pun when I had the ice-cream once
So yeah thats basically that...
Lately I got a blog just for prompts
Bcas I realised my feelings were getting lost somewhere in the jungle of prompts
But now it is all ok :)

Admin: hmm... interesting... ur feeling got lost in the jungle of prompts...? interesting way to put it...
is it worth, being in the jungle of prompts?

Rashi: There are 2 reasons people or atleast 1 write
1. To express myself
2. To better my writing
The prompts help do the second...
Most of the time is possible to combine the 2 but it is very very very difficult for me
I cant let the post govern me, the way I think or feel
I need to control the post
If you can find your way out, the jungle is a beautiful place
It is somewhat like the garden of rhyme. Beautiful but not for me...

Admin: beautiful but not for you.. meaning you hate to rhyme? or that u find it difficult?

Rashi: I hate express myself the best there
I can do but like a 2-yr old

Rashi: I think mentor is the one who has the ability to inspire without overtly wanting to do so.. Hence it would
be Prats.. bcas I identify with her work a lot..

would u prefer poetry with a particular form or just free flow?

Rashi: As I said before, expression versus style. I wish I could combine it.. But for me, it ends up being either or

Admin: ok. still which comes out more? expression or style? u told b4 abt prompts because u feel its cutting into
ur expression... but even prompts can be used to express don't u feel?

Rashi: Yes ppl who can do that, I would bow now to them
This is strictly about me..
I have read poems which are so beautiful that I didnt realise it was a prompt

Admin: Okay. Now you seem to be a lot into 55 Fiction... why is that so entrancing to you?

Rashi: I hate reading long posts
so when a story can be told in 55 words why not
it is effective, short and mostly leaves an impression of what the hell happened
It is interesting how much 55 words can say

Admin: but sometimes the expressing in 55 words seems to be very difficult. Is it really so?

Rashi: 55 words can express a moment, a feeling
A whole story yes can be difficult
And it leaves a lot to interpretation
so it doubly fun for me
I love leaving things open

if u were to rename your blog "Rocky Road" to something else... what would u rename it to?

Rashi: Hmmm...
I would ask my friends to name it
For I am bad at such things

Rashi: hmmm would be when I won that 2nd runners up for inspiration contest

Rashi: : Yes I have. With 2 actually. One being a 2 month internship which was a big eye opener..

Kajal (The Pink Orchid) is a kid in the frame of a woman, it just means I can love as innocently as a kid and i can hate as much as a kid can! my blog is all about me and everyone else who touches my life in a good or a not-so good way. my blog is everything else except sports and politics!

i'd chose poetry anyday.. it's been my first love.. since the age of 12.. i dont count rant as prose.. but rant is my vent and cant do without it too..

oh that is nice... to be a poetess that early is quite remarkable. u r the poetic princess of the lounge? i've seen that name being present in many of ur comments... justified nickname don't u think?

no I really don't think .. it is justified. if poetesses are to be called princesses.. then all the girls who can rhyme should be referred as princesses.. because poetry makes you rule the heart..
for some the rule lasts a few seconds... and for some it stays forever.. that's all.. all i meant to say is all poems leave an impact..

but the lounge seems to agree unanimously that u r the poetry princess.... ur posts make a valid point too. ur rule has lasted quite a long time. u r also the top commenter in WL, with more than 600 comments among the last 5000. u must be proud to call lounge second home...

the only setback is too much of talking and no action and the only solution is trying to stop the blame game..

recently there was a controversy about "Irresistible" series in WL. do u think the series was that bad? why do u think the controversy happened?

the series was one of the best things that happened to lounge .. even if some people might disagree, the pics went a little overboard...all i mean is a pic is just for supporting the poem but not overshadow it..

what pics would be appropriate for such a sensual series if u would...? perhaps, japanese anime or a drawing or something like that? i mean after all, the pic should be there...
since it helps the reader to understand what it is about. not all are versed to understand poetic depth right?

yeah..an anime.. or anything like that.. even real life pictures could be there but it doesnt have to be very descriptive.. but when I say all this I just mean that something like this,
its not suitable for a place like writers' lounge where we have readers of all age groups.. and is most visited webpage in so many homes where there are other family members.. it can go on in personal blogs because we are individually responsible for own spaces but for a group blog
we have to think of a lot of other things than just posting :) phew! i talk a lot..

I think I'd pick Tan.. Vinu could be picked too but I feel he himself is a master of poetry

I am not a very good student. i bunk a lot of poetic classes.. but whatever classes I have attended I make sure that I attempt those styles well.. :) and some of them are liked or at least I hope that they are.. :)

very modest student too. thats nice to see. you read and comment a lot on WL. who would u say has the shortest fuse in WL... ? and u dint tell ur grade. 1 to 10. what ur grade in lessons?

explain shortest fuse. my grade would be a sad 4. i guess Prats should be the one grading not me..

both the names are self explanatory.. Unknown Quest because I am one person who doesnt have a goal. I have no clue where i am going.. but i am going.. living one day at a time and giving it my all in any way i could.

it may be good for him..because he can write on prompts.. but to me prompts dont make much sense because it again brings you out of your comfort zone.. writing on prompts once in a while is alright for me too... but not always.. that's the reason why i dont attempt various poetic styles..
because i am not writing to become a writer or a poetess.. i am writing to express. so it could be hurt that prompts me one day or another emotion that prompts me the other day.. 'mere words' cannot make me write..

I have been writing poems since ages now and I dont write unless I feel those emotions intensely.. so may be that's why they turn out that way.
