I still remember
her questioning eyes
focusing me asking me
Where once was love
the mumbling of her
trembling lips
the way she fortifies me
I miss now
while reciting quran
surrounding me with verses
her closed eyes and low voice
I remember
The sadness of her face
the paleness the fear
when I told her
I leaving her
making her single yet alone
she whispered
as I shivered
webbing of in happiness
confining pain away from me
she turned
giving of permission to leave
leave her alone on her own
I still remember
from rise of our togetherness till death of our love.
Oh how i can forget
the moment of love
the love of us
her questioning eyes
focusing me asking me
Where once was love
the mumbling of her
trembling lips
the way she fortifies me
I miss now
while reciting quran
surrounding me with verses
her closed eyes and low voice
I remember
The sadness of her face
the paleness the fear
when I told her

giving of permission to leave
leave her alone on her own
I still remember
from rise of our togetherness till death of our love.
Oh how i can forget
