This Ragpicker's Life

There we go, riding the summer heat
Till the lights make us blind
Yet still sing songs in a steady beat
We gather whatever we find

Till the lights make us blind
And until the heaven's start to pour
We gather whatever we find
Redoubling our efforts all the more

And until the heaven's start to pour
We work, we fidget with our tools
Redoubling our efforts all the more
Without breaking stride, yet without rules

We work, we fidget with our tools
Yet still sing songs in a steady beat
Without breaking stride, yet without rules
There we go, riding the summer heat.

P.S| this form of poetry is known as pantoum. From my above post, figure it out....hehe....or just ask me or Prats....

  3. I like this poem.. as for the style, is it because the 2nd and 4th line of every stanza is repeated as the 1st and 3rd line of the next except the final stanza? I searched it up :)
