Kill The Idealist

A poem dedicated to anyone who believes that it needs a complete overhauling of the system to bring about a real change in the country. During such elections time I believe its better if people start looking at the bigger picture and something beyond what is prescribed in the dumbfounded Constitution.

A stinking wisdom founded on pillars of lies
We march carrying the torch of democracy
Purging metaphors of monochromatic cries
We march towards an unseen fallacy

Benevolent exacerbation of ignorant population
Where they still think their vote counts
No one testifies to the past annihilation
Intellectuals debate like the constitutional clowns

Young are tangled with their issues in relationships
Hourglass of reality doesnt touch their feet
The older keeps improving their spiral dictatorship
Colossal sickness of society at its peak

"Change we need" the cunning mantra of killing
Unbridled mass hypnosis by the mainstream media
The only thing that cannot be changed is this feeling
Thoroughly brainwashed by this election hysteria

Homicide of independence, treachery lurks everywhere
This slavery cabinet dependence, this Kashmir still burning
British were not capable of such repugnant flare
Its us who keep segregating in the name of unifying

A controlled demolition of self-perspectives
System only defines you through your monetary success
Do you think your progress is on their list of objectives
Or do you prepare your child for such rat race

Immaculate contestant of death, our nation is on a wholesale
The law was made to please the British queen back then
Revamped sections were added to make this lie sell
All clauses leads to slavery, all movements went in vain

Clumps of agony silenced through a political circus
Questions to be asked are just the answers of our past
Why do you need a certificate of your birth?
Why do you think only the common die in the blasts?

A merry go round of our faiths is on broadcast
They sit back and laugh on our misdirected campaigns
A fabricated history taught in the schools is must
Liberty is a myth disguised in different constitutional names

Our greatest gift is to forget lessons quickly
Our saddest plight doesn't lie on our ignorance
We may find this decade to be different from the last
But to the hourglass of reality it makes no difference

This stinking wisdom has controlled us since birth
The torch that burns is our unachievable utopia
A pernicious extraction of self-preservation on earth
Our visions of progress suffers from myopia
