A note on leadership

According to the father of our nation - Mahatma Gandhi, gone are the days when leadership meant power and strength... today it means getting along with people, mixing with them and motivating them.
I feel, its about knowing what to do, believing in it.. and going an extra mile to show others the way..
It is their passion that makes them work, make them believe in their work and in themselves.
It is their willingness to make each one confident, each one robust , that makes them a good leader.
They should be known by their work and not merely by their names..

Leadership is an attitude, it is less of words and more of actions.. less of scolding, more of motivating.
It is less about -"If you cant, just leave it", and more about - "okay! lets try it together once again!"
Its less of being the boss, more of being a buddy, a guy on whom the other can lay his trust.
Leadership is not all of vision, its more of executing them and sharing that.
Leadership, i feel, is more of learning and letting others learn... than dictating and teaching.
Leaders aren’t born, they are made. And they are made just like anything else, through hard work. And that’s the price we’ll have to pay to achieve that goal, or any goal.

These are the things I have tried to implement and I practise them.
