India Beyond Elections - A skeptical review

This is blog is in response to the post published by a fellow blogger titled India Beyond Elections.

The views expressed are solely mine and are from a skeptical point of view. Corrections and Criticism are more than welcome!

Introduction:

Akira Kurosawa wrote the meaning of his film Rashomon in his book Something like an Autobiography(1982):

One Day just before the shooting was to start, three assisting directors Daiei had assigned me came to see me at the inn where I was staying. I wondered waht the problem could be. It turned out that they found the script baffing and wanted me to explain it to them.
"Please read it again more carefully", I told them. "If you read it diligently, you should be able to understand it because it was written with the intention of being comprehensible." But they wouldn't leave. "We believe we have read it carefully and we still don't understand it at all; that's why we want you to explain it to us". For their persistence I gave them this simple explanation: "Human Beings are unable to be honest with themselves. They cannot talk about themselves without embellishing. This script portrays such human beings - the kind who cannot survive without lies to make them feel they are better people than they really are. It even shows this sinful need for flattering falsehood going beyond the grave - even the character who dies cannot give up his lies when he speaks to the living through a medium. Egoism is a sin the human being carries with him from birth; it is the most difficult to redeem. This film is like a strange picture scroll that is unrolled and displayed by the ego. You say that you cannot understand this script at all, but that is because human heart itself is impossible to understand. If you focus on the impossibility of truly understanding human psychology and read the script one more time, I think you will grasp the point of it."

My friend points out an interesting and thought provoking word of wisdom by a cynic Bertrand Russell.

Today's problems are because of yesterday's short sighted solutions of the same group of intellects. I dont blame them because to a certain point even their minds and hands are tied infront of the bureaucrats and corporate powerhouses who are the real show runners behind the curtains of democracy.

I beg to differ from the point that "they"(intellectuals? - of yesterday) are NOT to be blame. From the very start of the "Nation-Building" processes - these intellectuals cost us half of Kashmir to Pakistan, something to which our Soldiers are yet defending by their blood and sweat without any sign of remorse, except a few isolated incidents, which are NOT more than negligible. We "chose" the socialistic path where we hardly had any corporate houses, we definitely had "The Temples of New India" and we certainly had a will to become a statesman in the world while turning a blind to the Country of our own. We wishfully rejected the UNSC seat for China(Which also controls another part of J&K and claims the entire region of Aurnachal Pradesh as its own). These "intellectuals" ruled with iron fist and imposed emergency on the freedom loving people of India to save their own klan and fantasies. Betrayed the Country by handing over 90,000+ POW's in response to false "oral" promises. And mind it, this is just the tip of the ice-berg. I would like to quote JRD Tata - without any doubt the oldest and most respected industrialist of India: "My Life has been a constant struggle - never once has any Prime Minister asked me what I thought of the Country's economic policy. In other nation, this would have happened". But then, when we are more than willing to let the "intellectuals" go free without asking for an iota of explanations, which they owe to us, I don't have a word more suitable to the situation than "Hypocrisy"! We opened our economy in 1991 for the record, had we have adopted free market economy at the beginning only, I'm claiming, we wouldn't have been witnessing what we're now.

1.1 THE PROBLEM

If I understand it correctly, my friend argues that all these years we've been beating around in the bush in order to make our selves believe that we're indeed much better position than we really are. Something which the readers might have understood by the opening quote of the introduction of this post. The answer which he quotes was an answer to a cynic NOT satiric question. No sane follower or a analyst of the Politics ever blames the Intelligence Agencies for the mis-deeds which happen in the Country, say a bomb-blast? The Security services are the most complex and dangerous professions; how many times have we heard about a certain sleeper cell being busted? Or an anonymous person being arrested from a somewhere? You'll come across such news, say once in the fifty times of the operation undertaken. Its not that, that I'm trying to defend the Security Forces, but when we get Home Ministers of the level of Shiv Raj Patil, who prefer to match the color of their suits to the watches they wear. They're is bound to be a Public Outrage. Why is it that my friend is trying to seek a middle path when we have none? Why is it that we're deliberately delousing our selves in Psychological understanding of a Nation suffering from the pain of a "Thousand Cuts?" Why is it that we're NOT calling a spade a spade? Where is this political-correctness leading us? What have we lost and what will we lose, if we go on repeating the same mistakes again and again? What have we learned from our history? What were the intellectuals(?) of the past doing for last 60 years that my friend props the question at us: that a farmer has no clue of the fundamental rights given to us by the constitution? Why is my friend contradicting his earlier stance of forgiving the people who've made mistakes without even willing to express that they were indeed guilty of our present condition? And why are we even discussing the corporate houses when we indeed know that we were ruled by psychopathic pseudo-Communists' who've butchered people like us where-ever they've come to power? Where is the question of Rich bourgeoisie controlling the Cabinet? What did the dictatorship of the Proletariat do in USSR, China, Cuba, Cambodia and many other countries? I'd leave the readers to conclude them selves what answers they can produce for my questions.

1.2 THE PROBLEM WITHIN THE PROBLEM

Everyone is entitled to their opinion but not their facts. Wisely said so by someone in the past and quite certainly applies to everyone of us.

Very wise words, indeed. I'm quite amused to see the data presented by my friend: there is also a very amusing line which my friend has typed at the end of it. Let me begin by telling that the data my friend is talking about is actually a "Forward email" - I got the similar one last year. :) - Out of all that, I'd still pick something which caught my eye:

12,539 terrorist-related fatalities
people died in official custody in India over the past 15 years alone is 45,000
You still fear Al-Qaeda and LeT ?

Which year these fatalities were recorded? Which tenure? For the sake this discussion I'm accepting the fact that - Police is brutal, it doesn't care about the suffering of the normal people, and I'm more than willing to accept that the figures here can be more than what my friend has pointed out. Why then, Let And Al-Qaeda aren't just terrorist bodies, they anti-non-Muslims too. They follow a narrow 7th century interpretation of Islam which threatens NOT just the security and the safety of the Nation but also the population as whole. Their Goal is to establish Islamic Theocracy in whole of the world, while suppressing the people of other Religion! How in any one's wildest dreams one should not be worried about the people who're against everyone who's not a Muslim? How can one even think of living without an education? How can people accept a woman covered from head to toe, thinking as she's nothing more than a pleasure machine and can be raped by people if they see her skin, as if men have their testosterone levels sky high? How should people like me and others reading this post not be worried about what lies in store for us, if these terrorists accomplish what they want? How funny is comparison of cold-blooded murderers with a few police personals who settle their personal vendetta against another being?

We have RTI act to answer all of your quires but the fourth point of RBI. I'm sorry to have corrected you here, but unlike popular "Communist Belief" that RBI is a Private Institution, its certainly not. Its been under complete control of Government of India since its Nationalisation in 1949! A Government has to be complete nuts to give their reserve bank in private hands, even the God of Capitalism US - gives power to the President and his cabinet to decide the Board of Governess in Federal Reserve Bank - where it is managed by Private Auditors for maximum Profit.

Hell 80% of the population cant even name 10 basic fundamental rights they have.

I'd love to have the source for this claim, 80%? Quite amusing. Which person/organization surveyed more than 80 crore people? :)

Certainly 20/20 is a good way to pass the time, but reading some facts sometime can be a better time pass. Just a thought! :)

1.3 THE BIG PICTURE

"Zeitgeist Addendum" - Oh my Goodness! I should have read this part carefully, I'd missed it at first, till I decided to read it again. Whole of my hard work would have gone wasted and I would have done something better than writing this blog.

P.S: "Zeitgeist Addendum" : Is a Communist Propaganda with-no-truth-what-so-ever. And as they say: "In fact, one thing that I have noticed . . . is that all of these conspiracy theories depend on the perpetrators being endlessly clever. I think you'll find the facts also work if you assume everyone is endlessly stupid."

Good Day!

  2. I appreciate your genuine concern, but I'm amazed to see you wishing to do some work because you can't be a mute spectator. You stated that your don't understand issues, but then, if you don't understand the problem, how will you help towards its solution? Are we bothering our selves with concern to increase the followers? No! No one amongst us is a leader yet, and I can't comment on the future perspective. No body can guide you when it comes to Political Scopes, its you who has to work, there aren't any free meals. If you aren't able to understand something you come across in the concerned post, you can point it and I'll be more than happy to help. In the end, its you, and you alone, who can do something which is going to be constructive in a way you feel it is. Start Reading newspapers, for they are the best thing to understand the ground realities concerning the world, or India for the current matter. And as Harold R. McAlindon said: Do not follow where the path may lead.
Go instead where there is no path and leave a trail.

  3. Well giving that akira kurosawa story in the opening part itself is the first sign that you took the post to quite a personal level and due to which instead of doing a proper research you immediately replied with a new post by chopping every particular line of the original post "INDIA BEYOND ELECTIONS" in a surgical manner. Nothing unexpected though, but if I may be a little sarcastic about it I'm really amazed with your research capabilities since within a span of 5 to 6 hours you found all the contradictions to the whatever facts presented above. well it took me nearly about a year to get a grasp of everything and those stats with enough insider information to get what exactly was going on.

Let me tell you one thing that may surprise you but this is how things work

    1. I'm sure while reading the original post within half-way your mind already started preparing to reply with an outrage thats presentable by maintaining certain decorum. And thats simple to understand as the points mentioned contradicted your point of views.

    2. Certainly 20/20 is a good way to pass the time, but reading some facts sometime can be a better time pass. Just a thought! :)

I assume you have already browsed the whole of wikipedia articles , statistics , googled every possible information and went through some 100 odd indian govt websites, went through another dozens of interviews and a rack of independent media articles (not the mainstram ones) all in a span of just 5 to 6 hours and then prepared a solid reply with the arsenal of word calling it as a "skeptical view".

I'm sure the facts which are mentioned in my problem inside a problem have been not properly researched by you because they would take more than a weeks time to assemble them together and make sense of it. If you are looking for absolute link then I already mentioned you can get them in wikipedia , Google(googling) just in case you dont reply with another shot saying "Google is a search engine and not a content oriented website" and other Indian Govt. Websites.

    3. I'm equally sure you didnt watch the zeitgeist , researched on its validity but rather just found any search and content related to anti-zeitgeist or someone from who claims to have debunked zeitgiest. As validating this documentary will leave you all busy for another one month atleast.

Rest about pseudo communism and the list of events that you placed in support to your point of view are really very much true except the fact that they still lie inside the cube as mentioned in my original post taking stands and sides but presenting a complete picture. I never stated a middle path if you understood my post correctly because the elections itself is the middle path as I have quite clearly presented in th BIG PICTURE section there is no middle path.

    4. Dont you see a pattern still ? We both are into a debate again thats again going to get depleted in the course of time the same :)

But we do we have a lot of common grounds if we place the McAlindon's statement as mentioned in your comment above !

    Thanks

    ReplyDelete
  4. And I dont take any sides or become a part of any propaganda as such. For being communist or capitalist , right or left , conservative or liberal leads to the same entrapment inside the box rather than setting yourself free from whatever that claims to be the right political ideology as there is none.

I hope you will understand it once you start observing things from a non political standpoint !

    ReplyDelete
  5. As you had stated in your own post my friend: "
Everyone is entitled to their opinion but not their facts." - I take my ability to research in 5-6 hours as compliment, considering that I'm a Journalism student, I've to be much more faster than what I really am now. Nevertheless, one always has a scope for improvement! :)

    1)
Psychology, eh? You're quite mistaken, I'm inclined to my own political views, but that does not imply that I'm going to neglect the truth, if at all there is some in your post. That's not how things work, you should be ready to undertake criticism, in a healthy manner, for you or me are no P. Sainath!

    2)
And I'd request you to not assume anything which involves me anywhere. You seem to be quite offended at your post being debunked? If it is, I'm NOT sorry to have offended your feelings, for I have my Right to Free Speech!

You're quite mistaken if you think that every one here isn't aware 'bout that the "facts" -- as you choose them to be called -- are nothing more than fictitious fantasies of some quite smart person. And no, I'm NOT looking for any "one or ONLY link" - I'm quite aware of what can be found and where!

    3)
As always, you're quite sure of what I might have done and what I might not have done. Of which, you again have no clue, we in our online discussions call it "face-saving-technique". I've seen "Zeitgeist" and I'm quite amused to see a person who can't even spell the movie properly claiming that someone else hasn't seen it. No pun indeed! :)

    4)
I do see a pattern, but what its going to be like now, is something I'm eagerly awaiting. :)

The Political Pundits know, what is making the world go 'round, which system is perfect and which is liberal enough to adjust it self to fit the ever changing socio-political scenario in the world!

    Sam!

    ReplyDelete
  6. I don't prefer to see things from a non-political stand off, they don't make any sense if you wish change the system and are not ready to be political enough. You make no sense when you want to learn to drive a car but are not ready to sit in the drivers seat!

    ReplyDelete

A simple typo becomes reason enough for you craft a whole bunch of conclusion and there it seems you are the one applying face-saving-techniques.
This is what the state of journalism is - debunk anything that doesnt get along with the media's agenda and put this flowery word "conspiracy theorist" if they present hard hitting facts

    ReplyDelete
  8. A simple typo as I said, was meant for no pun. Why are so much offended at your post being debunked? You claim that it took you "almost a year" to present all that data, well then, how 'bout showering some enlightenment on me, for I'm more than eager to correct and learn right things. And if you can't do that for whatever reason, I'll satisfy my self by believing that you were doing nothing but trolling. I'm all eyes for that "hard-hitting-facts" with some "great-research of-one-year" - if you have some! If not, I have better things to do!

    Later! ;)

  9. As always, you're quite sure of what I might have done and what I might not have done. <--- Dont you see the tone ! Smells like a threat!

You also called another guy to be frustrated on his post while he was trying to raise a couple of questions. I'm sure we both believe in freedom of speech then why this threat hah ???

It seems whatever you wrote so far actually applies to you very much than anybody else since you are so much overtaken by your false sense of greater understanding of nation , everyone else's point of view appears a trash and thats where you start losing yourself.

"I may disagree with what you say but I'll defend to my death of your right to say it." - Voltaire

This what you call freedom of speech.

Kymatica - Please view this documentary as it aptly applies to you and infact everyone of us.

The way I see you - your views are nothing but a reflection of what I am on the other side, but thats not something you can understand so quick considering its an incremental process of deciphering oneself. This is the clincher.

    ReplyDelete
  10. And by the way you are the one who has the journalist skills of research. Then why dont you research it on your own rather than start pointing fingers calling it fantasies which you have not validated properly. Please I'll more than happy if you take the credit of the great-research-of-the year.

You still linger with "hey see i have debunked you" attitude while failing to harness and validate the facts. yes I forgot you already have done that before you posted your review. And now you have better things to do with your time. Sure have a nice weekend

    ReplyDelete
  11. And just incase you have a change in mind and you really wish to validate the facts instead of calling them conspiracy inspired fantasy I'll give you a couple of places to start with

6.The competence rating of India's doctors is below Tanzania's

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Healthcare_in_India#cite_note-dpreview-4

In a 2005 study, World Bank reports that "a detailed survey of the knowledge of medical practitioners for treating five common conditions in Delhi found that the typical quality doctor in a public primary health center has a more than 50-50 chance of recommending a harmful treatment". The competence rating of India's public health care system doctors is below Tanzania's.[5]

Unannounced visits by government inspectors showed that 40% of public sector medical workers could not be found at the workplace.[6]

    5. 12,539 terrorist-related fatalities
    http://www.newsdesk.umd.edu/sociss/release.cfm?ArticleID=1797
12,539 terrorist-related fatalities in India between 1970 and 2004 - an average of almost 360 fatalities per year from terrorism in India. These fatalities peaked in 1991 and 1992, when 1,184 and 1,132 individuals (respectively) were killed in such incidents.

    1.1. India's total external debt as of march 2009 = $230.85 billion

    http://in.rediff.com/money/2009/mar/31india-external-debt-at-231-billion-dollars.htm
India owes $230.85 billion to the external world as debt as on December 31, 2008, which is slightly less than $254.6 billion of forex reserves the country enjoyed at that point of time.

Total declared assets of all the politicians = $237 billion ( Add all the publicly declared assets by the politicians so far and you shall be surprised that it actually mounts to the same amount)

These are just a few links in the oceans of data available. I'm quite open to feedback and critic but on a proper tone and mutual respect since you being a journalist above all should know this. And online links are not the only source of information we have and I'm sure even you agree on that. The so called fantasies are presented to you and you can chose to call them fantasies or collaborate to validate the stuff. As far as I'm concerned even I dont blindly believe in what information thats available to us in the first place but rather spend a decent amount of time in validating the information by cross verifying it through multiple sources.

I wish to give you all the details despite you harshly disagreed with me you seem to be the only one who showed some interest in it afterall. All I seek is a little unbiased and non threating approach of yours. Because at the end of the day we both cannot change one single fact of our lives. That is we both are Indians above everything else.

    ReplyDelete
  12. --- Dont you see the tone ! Smells like a threat!

You smell way too much, and yeah, you shouldn't be putting words in others mouth. Oh you mean, the post from where you picked my answer? Yeah I said: "Your post seems to have been affected by the pathetic socio-political disorder of the country and seems to have been written out of frustration" - this I did say. Merry Christmas Santa! Duh!

Thanks for your advice, but my "false understanding of nation and blah blah isn't the point here." The point here is your post which has already been de bunked, I didn't knew you will come across as such a person! A person who claims RBI is a PRIVATE-OWNED enterprise, I can't help him at all. Thanks but no thanks, I don't lessons from you for sure on freedom of speech. Come back when you can argue on the point addressed rather than giving me emotional rants which make no sense. And I wasn't the one crediting my researching skills, you were. If you still can't accept that you're making a complete fool outta you're self here by posting these comments where you aren't talking anything 'bout the questions I've asked you in the comments section and in the post, dude, you've completely lost it. And as a saying goes: Never argue with a idiot, they'll just drag you down to their level and then beat you.

    Good day!

  13. 1)
Public Health care in India isn't deteriorating as in the case of Tanzania, your report in more than 5 years old, considering that it was released in 2005, things don't stay the same go through this:http://mohfw.nic.in/Bulletin%20on%20RHS%20-%20March,%202007%20-%20PDF%20Version/Rural%20Health%20Care%20System%20in%20India.pdf

    2) You don't get it, do you? Here, look at some fresh data, an up to date fatalities of terrorism in India this is for 2002-2007; I'll dig in with some more for 2008. For the time being, satisfy you're self: From 2002-07

    2002-4455

    2003-4217

    2004-3208

    2005-3188

    2006-2765

    2007-2598

    Total: 20, 431 - Source: www.satp.org

    3)
As far as soaring debt is concerned, that's majorly due to recession, I'd give you some more on the same, for that, I'll need some time to dig in from fresh data and its implications, and we ain't the ONLY country with debt, there are more than what we see.

I agree that everything isn't available online, but you need to specify the sources too, it just doesn't go the way you wanted it to go. I wasn't harshly disagreeing, my ONLY concern was the falsehood you'd posted in that, which I've already refuted. And no hard feelings indeed, I don't live and breathe in the virtual life ONLY.

    Later!

  14. Stopping calling others an idiot and start acting like a matured person. You got pinched hard which is visible from your replies and your soul provoked. The thing you call emotional ranting is rather a disgusting truth on MY part.

I have never claimed any credit and it seems you do. Let me tell you something and may be the only possible thing you can ever understand

YOU THINK NATIONALITY(INDIAN POLITICS)(CURRENT EVENTS) IS COMPLETELY YOUR DOMAIN AND ANYONE ELSE EVEN REMOTELY HINTS AT SOMETHING THAT IS BEYOND YOUR UNDERSTANDING OR NOT PRESENT IN THE LIST OF STOCK ANSWERS YOU HAVE , YOU LOOK DOWN ON THAT PERSON WHICH IS THE FIRST SYMPTOM OF YOUR MISPLACED PRIDE WITH ZERO SENSE OF ANALYTICAL SKILLS.

YOU CAN ONLY OUTBURST AT ANYONE AND YOU INCH IN EVERY BIT OF A CHANCE TO TRASH OTHERS WITHOUT ANY PROPER UNDERSTANDING OF WHAT IT MEANS TO STUDY AND OBSERVE TRENDS AND PATTERNS FROM A NON-HYPOCRITICAL STANDPOINT.
    '
YOU CANNOT POSSIBLY TOLERATE ANYONE WHO LOOKS LIKE TO KNOW SOMETHING THAT YOU DONT ABOUT POLITICS AND AS SUCH YOU START SPEAKING TRASH TO SUPPRESS THE OTHER PERSONS POINT OF VIEW.

YOU WILL AGAIN COME BACK AND REPLY TO THIS WITH YOUR FINGERS BANGING IN THE KEYBOARD LIKE AN OUTRAGED KID BUT THE FACTS ARE LYING OUT THERE WHICH SEEKS NOTHING BUT ALL OUR ATTENTION.

LOOK WHO SPEAKS OF HARD FEELINGS AND VIRTUAL WORLD - COMMON DUDE FOR SOMETIME TAKE A BREATHE AND DO SOME HOMEWORK BEFORE YOU COMEBACK WITH ANOTHER STUPID REPLIES OF YOURS.

ITS SAD BECAUSE ITS BECAUSE OF PEOPLE LIKE YOU WHO THINKS LITTLE KNOWLEDGE IS ALL THE KNOWLEDGE THEY HAVE LEADS TO SUCH DEBATES THAT GOES NO WHERE.

BACK TO THE BEGINNING GROUND ZERO - JUST AS I PREDICTED !

HEY FOR ONE LAST THING - DO YOUR RESEARCH PROPERLY BEFORE YOU WASTE YOUR TIME AND MY TIME WITH SHIT ANALYSIS AND CRAP. FOR NOW I'M IRRITATED AT MYSELF THAT WHY EVEN I THOUGHT OF WORKING ON THE TOPIC WITH YOU ON THE FIRST PLACE WHEN I SHOULD HAVE REALIZED THAT WE ARE NOT EVEN IN THE SAME PAGE ALTOGETHER. 18. Alright you asked for it. See the problem with shit heads like you is that they think they can claim any bullshit without any reasoning and proofs and the others are fools to readily accept whatever they're fed with. You think by the "emotional" Bullshit that you've just typed here in CAPS you're making any better sense? The answer is a BIG NO! You're a making complete fool outta you're self as you were before! The situation is: You come with some random post with psychological bullshit with some clean and clear agenda of a communist crap and you're gonna get away with it thinking you just did a great job to the world by being its savior.
Case Two: All of your posts are debunked step by step and you end up being a complete SOUR LOSER; what you're actually doing here is whining, you're cribbing that you were proven false; you're chauvinist ego is shattered. That's what has happened. And before you press your trigger again let me tell you the fact that you seriously have no clue of what you're typing. Did you even bother to go through the links I gave you? Did you try 'n answer even a single question raised in the post above? NO! Why? 'Cause all you can do is claim that-I'm-the-all-knowing-everyone-else-who-thinks-something-else-is-a-complete-shit-head! Dude, get a life man! You're wasting my time over and over again, and I'm seriously NOT bothered 'bout any random poster. No body gives a fuck 'bout what you think or for that matter what you "want" to think, and cube? What you're blabbering here is NOT cubical its more of Circular logic as they say, with no point related to the task addressed; you're more indulged in Ad Home-in attacks. Suit you're self dude, the world isn't 'bout a senseless, random and a complete FALSE "Forward Email"!

  19. Guys,

I'm actually quite appalled at your behaviour. Both of you seem to be highly politically inclined people and yet so intolerant of each other's views?

It shall always remain so that I shall defend your right to say whatever you want but this seems to go out of hand. I have or no1 here has any issues with the post or the earlier ones. But comments which offend the person in concern or others around will not appreciated.

I expected people who cared about the country and the state of affairs to be a little more tolerant of others.

I expect you guys to have a political debate in much more civilised manner attacking the view and not the person itself.

  20. None of you would benefit like this. Neither will the nation.

The only thing I would like to say is @ragpicker:
If you say "..dont u think our nation suffers from psychological disorder" in front of a nationalist(read: "COUNTRY LOVERS LIKE ME") then you are bound to offend them to the core of their souls.....and as a matter of fact it wont be an understatement to mention that even I got offended by that......

Sam dint say anything rong. Maybe if i read your post first, and would have replied, maybe i would also posess such opinions as sam posesses. And they would have been without effort.

So all what is requested is an "acceptance act" by you(read ragpicker) that you WERE rong at places. So rong that it escalated to offend many souls...

"A child helping a blind old man, can teach a big lesson to the crowd around: only if they are READY to absorb the TRUTH."

  21. Its NOT 'bout me by any yard stick Nik, Ragpicker clearly seems to have been brainwashed by some imaginative "conspiracies" which he claims to be everything but false! He is not at all ready to listen to the others' point of view, which are an on point characteristics of Communists and Religious Fundamentalists! And anybody who has no clue 'bout the facts; someone, who's very much concerned 'bout the plight of the Country will easily believe them all. Consider this: Any random poster of the Lounge reads that: "RBI is a Privately Owned Enterprise" - tomorrow goes to an public forum and states the very same words, that person is bound to make a complete fool out of him self/her self out there in front of others! How sane is misleading people just to prove that you're all knowing and all goody wise person? How idiotic is terming the analysis by various leading Journalists of the plight of Nation as nothing more than propaganda of the Government? Had that been the case, Defense scams such as Bofors and the Tehelka sting operation:"WestEnd" would have ever come in Public? How sane is comparison of a "few" Police officers to the dreaded-coold-blooded-murderers like Taliban and Let? That shows the level of understanding of the world by the poster!

P.S: I got a mail from the Admin - probably after he/she posted some comment and then deleted it stating that they'll be deleting the comments here. I request 'em NOT to do the same. Let it open to every one that whatever RagPicker has posted reflects his annoyance with he being proven false. Truth must NOT be suppressed at any cost!
