|| शरारत ||

Tacky Imprints !!

Sob Sob.
"Why Aniket? Why?", teacher asked furiously.
"Why did you hit Rahul?", but came no reply.
She dismissed both of them from the class for that hour.

( Next day )
Sob Sob.
"Mam, he again bullied me.", Rahul said crying.
"Aniket", teacher shouted at top of her voice.
"I warned you yesterday not to repeat this again na?", and she tried threatening him not to do that again.
They both were again dismissed for the hour.

( Next Day )
"Aniket!!!!", even today Rahul complained being beaten by him.
"Why do you have to hit Rahul everyday? How many times do I have to tell you not to do that? This is too much now."
The teacher was in a fix now what to do. It was becoming a daily nuisance for her now. Everyday she warned them both but one could clearly see that it had no impact.
She was unable to make out the reason for such beatings between both of them. As they literally had no issue of rift between them for such violence to take place daily.
Transfixed, she ordered Aniket,"Alright, ask your Father to meet me tomorrow during school hours positively".
She had thought that this might be enough to surface some fear on his face but the person who did get scared off was Rahul and not Aniket.
Today even he stood there, cool and calm, listening to the scoldings of the teacher .
( Next Day )
( In the Staff Room )
"Good Afternoon Madam.", said a husky voice.
The teacher looked up from the copies she was correcting to see Aniket's Father standing along with him.
"Yea, Sir. Please have a seat. The reason I called you for is, your son has a daily activity which is really annoying".
"Everyday in the recess time, he has to slap Rahul. Sir, I want you to ask your son the reason for such violent act as I have already tried my best to discover the reason but have always failed."
"I can't let this happen anymore because his parents are complaining to me every then and now to take serious actions against your son, so if please you could make him understand that whatever he is doing is just not done.", teacher completed the whole drama story in one go.
"Why did you slap Rahul?", now the interrogator was his Father, so keeping quiet seemed to be a bad idea.
He tried answering but words just won't come out.
"Answer me, why did you hit Rahul ?", this time a more threatening voice was heard in the staff room.
For a moment even the teacher got scared, but then came the reply.
"I love to see the imprints of all my fingers on his face after slapping him", came the innocent reply.

BLAME it on the NAME

Pre-script: [On a fine night in a pub, Me and Gulabo. While i had a few glasses of Martini, Gulabo was on her second glass of Frooti-on-the-rocks. When we both were a bit tipsy, this conversation started]

Me- Hey Rose, tell me something!!! Who gave you the name Rose???

Rose- What do you mean to say? Why can't i be named Rose? After all, a rose by any other name will still be a rose!

Me- I mean....why Rose??? Why not, say Sunflower??? Or even Hibiscus??

Rose- Err....dunno! I like the name Rose....I love flowers......infact any name related to flowers. Hmmm.......find an alternate name for me.....mind you, should be related to flowers!

[the bartender serving us.....eyed her profusely. He bent forward....towards her....and asked sincerely]

Bartender- "Cauliflower chalega?????"

P.S| sorry...gulabo....lol....wanted to write something. Aur teri yaad bhi aa rahi thi....lol.

from the eyes of a Chennaite :D

In the lanes of chennai
can you see amazing sights
not just brawl or petty fights
especially in the nights
among dazzling lights
displayed are wares in pretty might
excuding and glowing bright
hope it was good insight
so catch your flight
and just sit tight
be here overnight
incredible imagining alright
sure it will delight
nothing to fright
anytime i'm your knight
so in peace alight
during twilight
and be the usual wight
learning about chennai's sleight
and lets not be slight
with a torchlight
being ultralight
hop around with hindsight
and more foresight
enjoying spright
in dimly lit streetlights
also learn about peoples plight
bring the issues spotlight
and be citizens upright
have dinner by candlelight
munch on cookies got inflight
and not be overweight
later in hospital blight
eight can only be eight
so it rhymes right
because it contains ight
this is going nowhere straight
because the writer is not ultra bright
funny typing it all tonight

phew!!! end of it... even i couldnt bear..so am ending this here... but still there are words ending with ight...maybe some other time :P

this is my first attempt at aimless humour especially in poetry, shall try to write a more meaningfull and also describing in detail about chennai culture, food, places et cetra :D

helping me in this endeavour was this website www.morewords.com and last but not least, my ever loving WordWeb software with which i couldnt have gotten here, feeling notaglic...lol... :D .. writing in front of you and of course myself :P

i did not notice the time after that till we were both out of the house. As i checked the message in my cell, the clock showed 8:20!!

Tring trring...

Okay I know this is not how cell phones ring these days... but since I can't emulate the thousands of ring tones on cell... well this should do...

And by now, I guess you know I am talking about...

We see people bragging about their high-end sleek slim 'latesht' mobiles... well I am not going to do that...

My handset looks like a purane zamaane ka dabba, but ironically... it still gets used more than the latesht pieces of my friends, because more often than not... their phones are balance-less.

Mine is post-paid!

You find people clicking pictures all over the place...(yeah, you get the idea...) I can proudly say that I never do that....

(My cell doesn't have a camera... :D )

You find people on their two wheelers, oblivious to the car honking at ear-cracking noise levels with earphones and music blaring in their ears (yeah Linkin Park fans!). Well I never do that either...

(Hehe... my cell doesn't have any songs, or FM either :D )

The favourite pass time of my friends seems to be Bluetoothing...

(Yeah mine isn't...)

Flowers and hearts adore the cell screen of their cells...

(I hate those...)

People live in constant worry... about their precious ones...

(My cell doesn't have a SIM and nobody would want it even if I were to gift it for free...  so no worries... and bina tension ke aadmi zyada jeeta hai na... :D )

And my cell can do modelling too...
See... toh behtar kaun???

P.S. I seem to have lost my voice... thanks to inflated tonsils, as it is I have such a 'surili' awaaz... it sounds like crockery crashing right now... ;)
