What is left of me!

I think I have forgotten how to write poetry! :( This is my feeble attempt! Be nice!

I know I aint what I used to be,
The passion, the love I showed, once
Has slowly left me. Gradually, I fade.
Nothing is all I give you,
Together with a little care and love.
I'm not what I promised I would be
But you can have all that is left of me.

Love you I did, I do
And always will.
Find me in your heart,
if you can. For I'll
Always find you in mine.

Life has caught on. Responisibilities galore.
Nothing is as it used to me. Times changed.
I aint 17 anymore to sweep you off your feet.
Romeo and Juliet, love perfect seem impractical now.
Ended has the era of sweet nothings whispered.
I'm not what I promised I would be
But you can have all that is left of me.

Love you I did, I do
And always will.
Find me in your heart,
if you can. For I'll
Always find you in mine.

  4. this was good!! come and say 'sorry' for your disclaimer!!

I loved it. .. you have projected the helplessness that comes with maturity and sometimes certain forms of expressions of love do not make sense anymore..

It was one of the most sensible poems I have read..
