Colour.

I just read this post a few days back and found it very touchy and true so thought to share it with everyone. As per my knowledge I think it was written by an African child back in 2005 and was nominated as the best poem of 2005.

P.S. No offence to anyone. Please.

When I born, I black;
When I grow up, I black;
When I go in sun, I black;
When I scared, I black;
And when I die, I still black;

And you white fellows;

When you born, you pink;
When you grow up, you white;
When you go in sun, you red;
When you scared, you yellow;
When you die, you grey;
And you call me coloured?
