Book one revolved around the adventures of woodsman Richard learning that he is the first true Seeker....from battling D'haran soldiers to falling in love with Kahlan to fulfilling the prophecies by defeating Darken Rahl, who happened to be his bastard father.

in Tears of Stone, Richard is forced to separate from first wizard Zedd and Kahlan, as the gift in him threatens to kill him...meanwhile Zedd is attacked by creatures of the underworld as the Keeper readies himself to come out of the veil. Kahlan Amnell, Mother Confessor, ruler of the Midlands is forced to start a war that would be the fall of the Wizard's race and commence the Dark Ages. With time against him, the Seeker must put the Keeper in its place, tackle the spirits of Darken Rahl, learn to control the gift and save Kahlan....before it is too late.

A helluva story if you are a fantasy fan. If you love Potter and Lord of the Rings...this is one series you should definitely not miss. If you haven't read the first book of the series, then there is one alternative....download 'the Legend of the Seeker', Season 1, to know about it.

FL speak- okays, after a long time this is the first Book Review. Book Reviews tend to be very boring...atleast for me....so i will be write about it the way i normally write...i.e...in a crap way!

The best thing about this book is that it has everything...from romance to action...Not Mills and Boon romance, but the type that we saw in Twilight which made the gals go crazy over the Cullens and made the lads acknowledge the fact that romance may not be so boring.

And thus began the story of the HOST......featuring what may be the first love triangle involving only two bodies. And awesome book....a must read...if you trust my reading skills....lol.

It will make you want to finish the book in one go and yet would make you wish the story never ends. Stephenie Meyer.....i bow to you.

I would rate it 4 outta 5. Deducted a point not because of the plot...but because of the fact that there is no Alice Cullen here....i looooove Alice....lol

Great book, a great read....and dying for the sequel (if there is to be one) and the movie!

Price- 550 bucks in Chennai, Delhi for a particular press company...forgot the name. In airports, its more costly...i made that mistake of getting it from there. Second hand...about 70-150 bucks.
